Cosmetic nose Surgery
Many individuals seek out a qualified medical practitioner every year to discover just how much they can improve their visual psychological tactics. In layman’s terms they want to increase their sex appeal. In this regard people will go through many procedures that seem almost ghoulish to some. However, the end result barring complications or gross incompetence is that the individual is happier with their new appearance.
One of the most sought after plastic surgery types is cosmetic nose surgery. With this process even the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz could have elevated her physical appeal greatly by removing that bulbous wart covered nose and having a cuter sportier one installed.
The process itself varies by the doctor but there are two primary procedures for any cosmetic nose surgery. These procedures are the open and closed methods. The open method will involve the cutting of the columnella before the skin of the nose is raise up. The raised skin opens up the nasal cavity exposing it to the doctor in a manner that allows them to perform radical nose cosmetic surgery such as correction for a deviant septum. The closed rhinoplasty technique requires no cutting of the external skin and is done solely through the nostrils. This process is normally performed for less radical procedures like straightening the nose, or making it a little smaller.
All surgeries come with side effects and possible complications. The most common side effects of cosmetic nose surgery are swelling, bruising, and in some cases red splotches will appear due to burst capillaries. Common complications include numbness at the tip of the nose, stiffness of the nose, and infection. Numbness typically alleviates after a few months. Stiffness, however, has generally shown itself to be permanent. The risk of infection is greatly reduced if the patient utilizes a well practiced and licensed physician for their plastic surgery.
